What is your role at Culford?
I am a part-time Year 2 class teacher and I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of my job.
What did you do before you came to Culford?
I took a belated gap year and travelled to Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, Hawaii and LA. Before that I taught in a lovely Pre-prep in Surrey.
What is your favourite piece of music, novel or artist?
My favourite book is ‘May Week was in June’ by Clive James because it reminds me of my University days in Cambridge. My favourite pieces of music are ‘Brown Eyed Girl’ by Van Morrison and Pachelbel’s Canon.
What is the best thing about working at Culford?
Culford School is a beautiful place. It has splendid grounds, it is a great school in many ways, but by far the best thing is the wonderful children.
What are your interests outside School?
I like travelling to interesting places to experience new cultures. I enjoy baking cakes, going to the theatre, socialising with friends and playing the piano.
