National Pool Lifeguard Qualification

Culford is also able to offer the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. We are an approved training centre with the Institute of qualified lifeguards, allowing us to offer pupils a range of swimming options.

Over the past 15 years we have seen many Culford pupils gain a lifeguard qualification. The students have then progressed into employment as a leisure assistant/lifeguard here at Culford Sports Centre and other sports complexes in the surrounding areas.

Some Culford pupils are taking lifesaving as part of their GCSE with many of the elements being cross referenced against the National pool Lifeguard qualification. Pupils can add points on to their UCAS forms when applying to universities.
