The vast majority of Culfordians go on to University on leaving the school. Our Sixth Formers take up places on a wide range of competitive courses at many excellent Higher Education institutions including Oxford and Cambridge and other Russell Group universities.
Culfordians go on to a wide range of careers; from banking to medicine, from the arts, journalism and marketing to research science, engineering and the teaching professions. There are Old Culfordians in rock bands and others in the House of Commons!
Annual Life After Culford Programme
Alongside their A Level courses and other activities, all the Lower Sixth take part in a week-long Life After Culford programme. The event seeks to equip pupils with the knowledge, information and support that they need to make an informed decision about what they do after they leave Culford. Find out more here:

Many of Culford’s students go on to study at Russell Group universities and Oxford and Cambridge remain the destinations for the most able students. We are also supportive of students who aim to take courses at other universities, Drama School, Art College or join the Forces. Others choose to study abroad and three former pupils recently took up competitive Tennis Scholarships at US Colleges.

The Old Culfordian Community
All those who leave Culford become Old Culfordians; members of a vibrant and connected alumni community. Old Culfordians are cared for by the Foundation department who hold frequent events and reunions, and produce an annual magazine, FOCuS, and bimonthly email newsletters.
