Join Culford for the highlight of the 2017 summer season, when the internationally acclaimed London Festival Opera return for a midsummer's evening to remember. Operatic favourites and popular showstoppers will be performed on the glorious South Front terrace: a night made for music lovers!
London Festival Opera will present a highlight performance of Puccini's dramatic masterpiece 'Madame Butterfly, in costume accompanied by a select instrumental chamber ensemble. 'Madame Butterfly' features some of Puccini's most beautiful and heart-rending music making 'Opera in the Park' an evening not to be missed. After the interval, the operatic entertainment continues with a selection of opera, operetta and song tracing the Royal reigns from Henry VIII to Her Majesty The Queen.
Delicious Food and Drink
Before the performance, and during the interval, guests will have the chance to sample some wonderful food and drinks. Adnams will be supplying beer, fine wine and soft drinks to the Libretto Bar. Luxury street food vendors Bubble and Squid will be selling beautifully cooked fresh calamari with sparkling wine. There will also be an Edwards & Blake stall selling hot drinks and snacks.
Guests are also able to pre-order a luxury picnic up to Tuesday 13 July. These include a cooler bag filled with beautiful, freshly cooked picnic favourites including quiches, salads, bread, a pudding and a soft drink. A vegetarian option is available.
