Superb facilities include a landmark £2.2million library, dedicated music school, professional Studio Theatre and modern Science Centre, as well the Culford Sports Centre which boasts a championship-standard four court Indoor Tennis Centre alongside a 25m heated indoor pool, sports hall, strength and conditioning suite, squash court and gym.
High Performance Sports Programmes
The sporting ethos at Culford places the individual pupil at the centre of the decision making. The opportunities we provide reflect our aim to meet each pupil’s aspirations and ambitions to enable them to meet their sporting goals. All have access to excellent facilities and specialist sports coaches.

Boarding Life, Part Boarding & Extended Day options
There is a vibrant boarding culture at Culford, with over 50% of pupils boarding at the Senior School. Each pupil, whether day or boarding, belong to one of four Houses where they enjoy the care of a Housemaster or Housemistress, as well as a personal tutor.
Culford offers several daily bus routes in the Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket, Sudbury, Stowmarket and Ipswich area, as well two express direct shuttle services from Cambridge and Norwich.
Our website and prospectus will give you a flavour of what Culford has to offer but it is no substitute for coming to visit us.
