Welcome to the Prep School's area of the Culford website.  Culford Prep School is a lively place and we hope your visit to the website will tempt you to come to see us in person.  The reality is even better.

There are two things that we look for in a school as matters of priority: happy children and enthusiasm for learning. Here at Culford Prep we have been thrilled to witness both of these attributes as commonplace among the children. The ethos of mutual respect and friendliness has really impressed us in our time here, creating a background atmosphere that can only be conducive for both teaching and learning.

Such an ethos can only be achieved by the staff who are extremely committed to providing for the needs of the children. The teachers are a crucial part of any school and we have been fortunate to have inherited a dynamic Common Room, which has a professional and dedicated approach which fosters a desire to learn.

The boarders have a vibrant and caring cohort of residential staff, who not only provide nightly entertainment but who have also created a structured weekend programme with events and trips every Saturday and Sunday throughout the term, making boarding a really fun option.

Enhancing all of this are our superb surroundings and facilities. As a Prep School we are fortunate to share the Senior School facilities and so we have easy access to the swimming pool and sports hall with its brand new climbing wall, the astroturf hockey pitch, the Music School, the stunning new Studio Theatre, the Art and Design Centre and the superb new championship standard 4 court Indoor Tennis Centre.

Put all of this in a magnificent 480-acre parkland setting and you will begin to understand why Culford Prep School is such a wonderful place for children to be happy and to learn.
