Local Directions to Culford School
Culford is easy to find:
From Cambridge or London - Leave the A14 at junction 42 for the A143 signposted Thetford and at the second roundabout take the second exit on to the A134 signposted Fornham. Follow the A134 until you reach the roundabout and take the first exit signposted B1106 Fornham. Continue to the next roundabout and take the third exit, also the B1106. Continue along this road until you reach Culford village. The entrance to the School will be seen on the left-hand side
From Ipswich - exit the A14 at junction 43 (Bury St EdmundsWest) take the roundabout exit signposted Brandon B1106 (RAF Honington). Continue along Tut Hill past Bury St Edmunds Golf Club until the double mini-roundabout. Go straight over into Fornham All Saints village, past the Church and the Suffolk Golf Club, and continue until the roundabout. Take the first exit signposted Culford and Brandon B1106. Continue along this road until you reach Culford village. The entrance to the School will be seen on the left-hand side.
From Norwich on the A11 Travelling south on the A11 from Norwich, take the B1106 just south of Thetford signposted Bury St Edmunds. Culford is in 6 miles. Culford School is in the centre of Culford village.
By Air
Culford is 45 minutes from Stansted (via the M11/A11/A14) and approximately 2 hours from Heathrow (via the M25/M11) and Gatwick (via the M23/M25/M11). There are express train services from all three airports to central London or the School can arrange a taxi for you.
By Rail
Bury St Edmunds has good rail links to London (King's Cross and Liverpool Street Stations), Ipswich and Cambridge and the train station is located just 10 to 15 minutes from Culford School by taxi.
