After School Activities
The Culford activities programme is busy, lively and fun. There are a wealth of opportunities for your child to discover new talents as well as to enjoy more familiar activities. Every day of the week at 4pm, after lessons finish and the children have had tea, the activities programme starts, offering a range of varied pursuits to allow our pupils to excel in more than just their academic studies.
As well as the major sports, children can choose to play golf, table-tennis, tennis, bowls, take up climbing, sailing, drama, dancing, fencing, karate, run cross-country or go horse riding.
For those who like non-sporting activities we offer a gardening club, choir, orchestra, jazz band, bridge, beginners Spanish, Latin and French clubs as well as an opportunity for enthusiastic editors to get involved with the Prep School’s annual magazine, Th’inkwell, and for budding actors to join the cast of the annual production. There is no time to be bored at the prep school!
Activities finish at 5.20pm and pupils may choose to do as many or as few as they wish.
