Day Pupils
All pupils join one of the Houses and, as well as having a Housemaster or Housemistress, they will be assigned a personal tutor. The tutor will meet with each pupil on a daily basis and is always available to provide support and advice on any work, personal, friendship, health or other matters.
Day Houses have recreational areas as well as access to study facilities and lockers for storing personal belongings. Matrons provide refreshments at break times and Housemasters and Housemistresses will normally be available to talk to in the Houses first thing in the morning, at lunchtime and at the end of the school day.
There is a Medical Centre on-site, with a resident nurse, should pupils feel unwell or have an injury or other accident.
The school day begins at 8.25am and finishes at 5.20pm.
