Creativity for Life

The expressive arts are another central part to human creativity and we believe that artistic endeavour should be accessible to everyone. Each student is given the opportunity to find, challenge and expand his or her creative ability. Individual strengths are nurtured, and through considered, creative and imaginative teaching, personal goals and ambitions are realised.
All pupils study Art, Design and Technology, Drama and Music in their first year at Senior School. At the end of Year 9 they may choose to continue to GCSE and, in Year 11, to specialise in any or all of these subjects at A Level.
There are many opportunities to perform at school in both formal and informal concerts, plays, House events and drama festivals. In 2011 Culford will be performing Find Me by Olwen Wymark at the Edinburgh Festival.
Pupils achieve stunning results each year and high grades are achieved at GCSE, AS and A2 level with a number of students going on to pursue art and design in their higher education.
