Day Students in Sixth Form

All Sixth Formers join one of the Houses and, as well as having a Housemaster or Housemistress, they will be assigned a personal tutor. The tutor will meet with you on a weekly basis and is always available to provide support and advice on any work, personal, friendship, health or other matters.

Day Houses have recreational areas as well as access to study facilities and lockers for storing personal belongings. Year 12 and Year 13 students also have their own Sixth Form Centre with comfy chairs, music and a television and can dine in a separate Dining Room located within Ashby if you wish. Matrons provide refreshments at break times and Housemasters and Housemistresses will normally be available to talk to in the Houses first thing in the morning, at lunchtime and at the end of the school day.

There is a Medical Centre on-site, with a resident nurse, should students feel unwell or have an injury or other accident.

The school day begins at 8.25am and finishes at 5.20pm.
