Culford Hall and Estate
Culford Hall sits in approximately 480 acres of historic Suffolk parkland with a mixture of pastures, woodland and formal grounds surrounding it. The grounds together with the facilities within the building itself makes it suitable for a wide variety of uses from weddings to corporate hospitality and business meetings, and on to photo shoots and formal balls and dinners.
The delights of a marquee on the formal lawns in the summer, with jazz and Pimms as the perfect accompaniment, are hard to beat; but then so is the fun of a winter ball with music sounding guests in to dinner and the energy of a live band to follow.
There are rooms within Culford Hall to host any number between 12 and 400, and we offer any variety of catering from the simplicity of coffee and biscuits through to a formal silver service dinner.
In addition, we can also offer access to all the sporting facilities: the Sports Centre includes a 900 square metre sports hall (uses range from indoor 5-a-side football, cricket nets, climbing wall, netball and general P.E.), 25 metre indoor swimming pool, strength and conditioning suite, fitness and dance studios. We can arrange for various classes such as aerobics and yoga in the dance studio. There is also a magnificent four court indoor tennis centre which is open all year round.
For those wishing to stage residential courses, we can provide accommodation in twin, triple, small dormitory (4 to 8 people) and larger dormitory (8 people and above) styles. The boarding Houses offer modern kitchen and bathroom facilities and each House has at least one en-suite study bedroom for course leaders.
