Regular personalised coaching sessions with cricket professional, Alex Stafford, Callum Guest or Alistair Younger
Technical skill development
Specialised cricket strength and conditioning training
The rugby programme, available for pupils aged 11-18, offers high quality coaching led by Mark Bolton, an ex-Irish and Great Britain Rugby League international who played professional rugby for eight years. Mark is supported by Spencer Williams, an ex England U18 and Eastern Counties coach and coach to the Diss men’s senior team. The programme provides the opportunity to combine an excellent education up to A Level with tailored, high performance, training.

Coaching linked to county and regional rugby structures
Additional strength and conditioning training
Competitive fixtures throughout Autumn and Spring terms
The Hockey Programme is led by Graham Moodie, ex-International hockey player who has 58 GB caps and played in the 2004 Olympics. The hockey team is also supported by Alex Bibby. We continue to develop our partnership with Bury St Edmunds Hockey Club, allowing players to play their club hockey at Culford; this partnership continues to thrive and help develop our players.

Successful hockey candidates will receive a year round training programme, which will include:
Competitive indoor and outdoor fixtures throughout the Autumn and Spring terms
Specific skills and team training at least three times a week
Video and match analysis sessions
A hockey specific fitness development program to be used throughout the school year which includes strength, conditioning and SAQ training
Netball at Culford is one of our leading girls sports and our teams have consistently reached county finals. We have a strong base of players, coaches and support staff across the school.
Sophie Hansell, Head of Netball, leads a team of dedicated coaches who produce excellent results across the board. Sophie plays and coaches at regional and national level. Netball is accessible to pupils in both the Autumn and Spring term. During the Autumn term we focus on preparing for the county competitions, whilst in Spring term we compete against other schools.

We have five outdoor courts and two indoor courts.
