Culford Prep School Shortlisted for Independent Schools of the Year Award

We are delighted to announce Culford Prep School has achieved national recognition by securing a spot on the prestigious shortlist for a national award at the esteemed Independent Schools of the Year Awards.

The highly regarded awards have been running for five years, with hundreds of schools from around the UK submitting entries. Despite tough competition, Culford Prep School impressed the distinguished panel of judges and has been shortlisted for Independent Prep School of the Year.

This achievement is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and exceptional leadership of Claire Bentley. Under her guidance, Prep School has experienced steady growth in numbers and has continuously strived for excellence. The efforts of our teachers and support staff go without saying; their passion for education and exceptional professionalism has created an environment where our pupils can flourish and achieve their full potential.

Expressing her delight, Claire Bentley, Head of Culford Prep School, said:

“We are thrilled to have been shortlisted for this prestigious award. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff, pupils, and the entire Culford community.”

The eagerly awaited announcement of the finalists will take place on September 6, 2023. Subsequently, the judges will convene once more to determine the ultimate winner, which will be revealed during a grand awards dinner.

The Independent Schools of the Year Awards were launched in 2018 to showcase the finest independent schools in the United Kingdom. This event serves to celebrate the rich diversity and wide-ranging experiences offered to pupils in the independent education sector.

"... the opportunities here will get you where you need to be"

To make children ready for life means developing them into flexible, innovative, dynamic and resilient young adults. The first three are key values in a world in which change is the only constant; and young adults also need to learn resilience as failures and setbacks sometimes lead to our greatest successes.
