Congratulations to our U13 Hockey girls on qualifying for the IAPS National Finals this week.

Congratulations to our U13 Hockey girls on qualifying for the IAPS National Finals this week.

The team qualified on Thursday, when they played in the IAPS Regional Finals at Repton School and finished in second place. For eight out of ten players, this was their last ever IAPS Hockey fixture.

Culford defended and pressed with determination, showing some excellent skill; with a special mention to Phoebe and Ruby on their excellent saves. They went on to win the group and progressed to the final to face a strong Repton side.

Head of Hockey, Miss Turbill, says ''The girls were amazing from start to finish and have worked hard over the last 3 years to finally get the moment they deserved. This has been a long journey for them, but a rewarding one for all of the coaches and players involved throughout the whole U13 age group. I couldn't ask for a more determined, vibrant group of girls who have really pushed and committed - they are now being rewarded. Congratulations!''

The National Finals that will take place on Thursday 18 November.

We would like to thank Repton School for hosting a fantastic fixture and wish our girls the very best of luck for November.
