Culford Upper Sixth Achieve Outstanding A-Level Results
Charlotte Bradbury

Congratulations to all of our Upper Sixth pupils on their amazing grades and hard work over the last year.

This year has seen another excellent set of results for pupils at Culford. In total, 48% of pupils were awarded an A*- A, 77% A*- B and 92% A*- C.

After a rigorous process of building, checking and reviewing grades, it was no surprise to the school that none of its grades were challenged by the examination boards. Headmaster, Julian Johnson-Munday commented:

''These grades are well deserved and stand as testament to the hard work and talents of our students, who have done exceptionally well to complete their A-level courses so successfully when the last 18 months have been disrupted by the pandemic.''

Stephen Arbuthnot, Head of Sixth Form said:

''The pupils have been so successful this year and it is hugely deserved. ‚ÄčThe vast majority got into their first choices, with many going to Russell Group Universities and a number going to American universities on prestigious sports scholarships. To achieve all this after such a difficult 18 months is a fitting reward for their resilience, hard work and good spirits.''

Well done to all pupils and we wish you the best of luck on your new ventures!
