Culford School

Scholars' Programme

Academic scholars are privileged both in their status within the school and because of the financial awards they receive. They also benefit from the excellent annual Scholars’ Programme.

The Scholars’ Programme supplements scholars’ normal academic studies and takes on a variety of forms; from guest speakers to regular Oxbridge-style tutorials, debates and holiday reading. It is excellent preparation for the mixture of independent learning and tutorials that students will find at university.

All students are welcome to attend a seminar and occasionally parents are invited. Past guest speakers include leading psychologist and author, Dr Helena Kim and film conductor and composer, Ben Parry.

This Scholars' Programme brings outstanding academics and fascinating speakers to speak on their topic of specialism and also includes tutorials and workshops designed to inspire our most able pupils.
