Trips and Tours
Although Culford School makes an excellent base for learning, with beautiful grounds and outstanding facilities, pupils benefit from travelling outside the classroom for educational trips and sporting tours. The Sixth Form is also especially proud of its annual charitable trip to Malawi.
Educational Trips
Educational trips are organised by Heads of Department and many are designed to supplement coursework for A Level or spark interest in particular academic areas.
Recent trips have included a dance trip to New York, a Sixth Form history trip to France, a geography trip to Yorkshire, an Art and Design trip to London’s galleries and a DT trip to the Mini Factory.
Culford School runs exciting scuba trips during the year for pupils to gain their scuba diving qualifications, including travelling to Mexico during the Easter holidays.
Sporting Tours
Culford’s best sporting teams and players frequently travel abroad for training camps and competitive fixtures. The tennis programme has annual training at La Manga Club in Spain, as well as traveling all over the world to support our pupils in competitive tennis events.
Our rugby programme has toured Italy and and our football programme has most recently been to Seville, Spain. More recently as part of our outdoor education programme, Senior School pupils travelled to Morrocoo for a rafting adventure.
At the end of the Autumn term there is also a ski trip to Italy.
